Who am I when so much of what I've believed myself to be has been shaped by a culture that never wanted me to see beyond the veil?
Rev angel Kyodo Williams
GROW is a white-bodied coaching cohort for those of us who are committed to divesting from whiteness and stepping into wholeness.
Grounded in the understanding that the world won't change if we don't, this work invites us to dig deep into the shadows of the individual and collective self so that we can confront whatever is holding us back from healing and wholeness. "Doing the work" isn't about getting it right, being good or playing small. It's about becoming solid and centered white people who are playing their part and helping bring forth a future of collective liberation and wellbeing.
This fall's cohort will focus on inside-out growth that supports how we show up in solidarity and action. Over the course of three months, we will explore the following questions/practices:
- What’s in the way of true solidarity?
- What is my right role and response-ibility? (How do I respond with skill ?)
- How do I organize my people around mutual responsibility and action?
- Who am I accountable to and how do I practice accountability?
- How do we sustain the work for the long haul?
GROW is for all of us who are tired of being stuck in old stories and cycles and ready to expand into our full power and potential. This moment is calling us to grow up and show up for ourselves and each other and embrace our purpose in the movement towards liberation and wellbeing for all people.
